Solana

Solana is a 280 MW parabolic trough plant that is equipped with storage capacity. Solana is located near Gila Bend, Arizona, US. This project is the result of a power purchase agreement Abengoa Solar signed with Arizona Public Service (APS), Arizona´s largest electric utility.

Solana will have six hours of molten salt thermal storage capacity, which will allow energy to be dispatched as needed during cloudy periods and after sunset.
